ROUND ROCK, TEXAS
Tell us which surface and how big it is.
Describe your project for review. Contractor introductions are not available yet.
We'll review your project details and follow up about the next step. We won't share your contact information with a contractor without your permission.
THE SURFACE YOU HAVE IN MIND
You do not need to know the method. Tell us which surface, roughly how big, and which way it faces—shaded north and west walls grow the most mold—and mention soft surfaces like stucco or historic brick in your notes.
Concrete, pavers, or a pool deck that has gone gray. Tell us roughly how big and how badly soiled.
Walls with mold, mildew or algae, especially on shaded sides. Tell us the material and how many walls.
A fence, deck, or something else that needs a wash. Tell us the material and the length or area.
YOUR PROPERTY
Concrete, stucco, or a post-storm cleanup. We're planning a local pressure-washing referral service and want to hear what Round Rock homeowners are dealing with.
Let us know where the property is, which surface, roughly how big it is, and when you would like it done.
“A 2-car concrete driveway and the north stucco wall, about 600 square feet of each, plus the patio. Built in 1998.” That gives us something useful to work with.
We review each request and look for a contractor who serves the area and type of work you describe.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Round Rock is overwhelmingly 1990s–2010s suburban single-family housing on clay soils, with large concrete driveways and patios. The 2022 EF2 tornado made post-storm exterior cleanup a real, dated job here. These notes cover the local housing stock, why the grime builds up, and what to check before you book.
Round Rock is humid-subtropical, with about 37 inches of rain a year and summer heat spikes. Mold, mildew and algae grow on shaded north- and west-facing walls, roof lines and concrete year-round. The local soils—clay on the Blackland Prairie—tend to throw mud and staining up onto lower walls after storms, which is why the post-storm cleanup is a recurring job (Wikipedia).
Round Rock was hit by an EF2 tornado on March 21, 2022. Homes that took on storm debris, soot or staining need a proper exterior cleanup—not just a rinse—and some insurance policies cover it. If your home was affected, check your policy before booking, and ask the crew whether they can work to an insurance-acceptable scope (Wikipedia).
See pressure washing in Georgetown and Pflugerville. If the home also needs foundation work, see foundation repair in Round Rock.
Local Project Guide is a new referral service run by Jon Staples. We read every request, and we do not share your contact details with a contractor without your permission. See the About page and the privacy notice.
