Who we are

Local Project Guide, including project-request pages such as Acre & Brush, is operated by Jon Staples. Questions or requests about your information: [email protected].

What we collect

When you submit a project request we collect what you enter: your property area, project type and size details (for example acreage, or fence length and material), preferred timing, any notes, your name, your email address, and your phone number if you choose to give it.

To limit spam we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) and your browser type. We count anonymous form starts and completions, which contain no personal information. Page visits are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. A Cloudflare Turnstile check helps block automated submissions and loads only when you start the form.

How we use it

To review your request and follow up with you. We may email the site operator a short alert that a request arrived; it includes the project details but not your name, email address, or phone number.

Where it is stored

Requests are stored in a private database hosted by Cloudflare that only the site operator can open. Cloudflare processes data on our behalf as our hosting provider.

Sharing

We do not share your name, phone number, email address, or project details with a contractor without your permission. If you agree to an introduction, we will tell you who will receive your information. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed to follow up on your request. We delete requests on request, and remove requests that are no longer active.

Your choices

Email us to see, correct, or delete your information, or to withdraw a request and stop any follow-up. We will act on your request promptly.

These pages are for property owners and are not directed to children.

Changes

If this notice changes, we will update the date above.
