About Local Project Guide
Local Project Guide is a small project that helps Central Texas property owners describe a land clearing, fencing, or gate project and, when they are ready, get connected with a local contractor. It is run by Jon Staples.
Where we are
We are early. We are collecting project requests to understand what property owners around Austin, Georgetown, and Liberty Hill actually need. We do not have contractor partners lined up for every kind of work yet, and we will not pretend to. When a request is a good match, we will ask your permission before we introduce you to anyone, and we will tell you who will receive your information.
What we are not
- We are not a contractor and we do not do the work.
- We do not set prices, guarantee availability, or vouch for any contractor's work.
- We do not share your name, phone number, email address, or project details without your permission.
Where the cost and planning information comes from
The cost ranges and planning notes on our project pages come from published guides and agencies. We link to each source so you can read it, and we label the figures as estimates, because real quotes depend on your site and the contractor. This information is general and is not legal, engineering, or environmental advice.
